John Hammel, Catering Manager at Honeywells was proud to be at the Final of BBEC Master Chef in which the 4 finalists had to prepare cook and serve a 3 course meal with a budget of £10.00
The 4 Finalists Ruby Jones, Heather Jenkinson, James Rosendale and Ben Calcutt had a very closely fought contest. Andrew Nash the executive chef at Barton Grange Hotel congratulated each finalist pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of each dish with very few marks between the exceptionally high standard of dishes.
This years overall winner for second year running was Ben Calcutt with a main course of rosemary lamb with salsa verde. The runner up was James Rosendale with chicken kebabs.
